Build a course by tapping/clicking marks on the map (hover over them to see their names). Selected marks appear on the Course sheet to the left, and purple arrows depict each course leg on the map. Remove marks from the Course by dragging them out of the sheet, or start a new course by tapping the Reset button.
Wind direction & speed are initially obtained from the weather provider, and shown on the map with blue arrow(s). It can be manually entered also.
Once the app is loaded, an internet connection is no longer needed, and multiple courses can be constructed, tapping the Reset button between each.
This app will work best on Google Chrome, which is available for a variety of mobile devices. On small display devices, the Course box can be temporarily dragged to another location if it is obscuring marks on the course.
The estimated duration DOES reflect wind speed & direction for a variety of sailboats.
